Refund & Cancellation Policy

How Cancellation works for Stays

The host can choose which cancellation options to offer guests.

Flexible Policy

• Free cancellation until 24 hours before check-in (time shown in the confirmation email).
• After that, cancel before check-in and get a full refund, minus the first night and service fee.

1. For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 24 hours before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
2. If the guest cancels less than 24 hours before check-in, the first night and Justwalkin Rooms service fee are non-refundable.
3. If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after cancellation is fully refunded.

Strict Policy

• Free cancellation for 48 hours, as long as the guest cancels at least 14 days before check-in (time shown in the confirmation email)
• After that, guests can cancel up to 7 days before check-in and get a 50% refund of the nightly rate, and the cleaning fee, but not the service fee

1. For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
2. For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise, no refund. If only 50% of the reservation has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
3. If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.

 

Long Term Policy

• Automatically applied to reservations of 30 nights or more
• Reservations are fully refundable for 48 hours after the booking is confirmed, as long as the cancellation occurs at least 28 days before check-in (3:00 PM in the destination’s local time if not specified)
• More than 48 hours after booking, guests can cancel before check-in and get a full refund, minus the first 30 days and the service fee

1. For a full refund, cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 28 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (3:00 PM if not specified) on the day of check-in.
2. If the guest cancels the reservation before the start date, the first month of the reservation is paid to the host in full and not refunded to the guest.
3. If the guest cancels the reservation during their stay, the guest must use the online alteration tool in order to agree to a new checkout date. Regardless of the checkout date chosen, the guest is required to pay the host for the 30 days following the cancellation date, or up to the end date of the guest’s original reservation if the remaining portion is less than 30 days.
